Teacher – Acorn Tees Valley
We are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher for our new Tees Valley Centre, who is able to blend teaching and relational skills, with the values of a living and active Christian faith, to deliver excellent alternative education.
- This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week).
- The successful candidate will work during school term times and will benefit from 13 weeks paid holiday and flexible working arrangements on Wednesdays.
- Salary: £26,545 – £34,045
- Permanent contract
- Starting 1st September 2026
- Closing date – TBC.
This role would particularly suit those who have worked or recently qualified in teaching or youth work. QTS is not an essential requirement if you can demonstrate an ability to teach young people in an educational setting.
Learning Mentor – Acorn Tees Valley
We are looking for an enthusiastic Learning Mentor for our new Tees Valley Centre, who will bring a blend of relational and learning support skills, along with the values of a living and active Christian faith, to help us deliver excellent alternative education.
- This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week), but we’re open to considering part-time (26 hours per week or more).
- The successful candidate will work during school term times and will benefit from 13 weeks paid holiday and flexible working arrangements on Wednesdays.
- Salary: £25,045 – £27,045 (pro-rata if part-time)
- Permanent contract
- Starting 1st September 2026
- Closing date – TBC.
This role would suit an existing youth worker or someone working in education in a teaching, learning support, or behaviour support role.
